True colors

I was too busy and far too angry to write about this yesterday.

I'm of course referring to the attack and murder of American military and civilians at Fort Hood by a Mohammedan, and-- irony of ironies-- a psychiatrist.

Sadly, this supports a belief that I have long held: although there are followers of Mohammed who are kind, decent people, we quite simply cannot trust them as a general rule. It's almost as if they have a jihad button that can be activated at any time, turning otherwise normal-acting, educated people into mass murderers with a 7th-century mentality.

And (surprise surprise!), the media seemed to be going out of their way to hide the fact that Hasan was a Mohammedan. If there had been any way to report this story without mentioning his [Arabic] name, I'm sure they would have done so.

I've said this before, but if we don't even have the fortitude to acknowledge that the people who perpetrate acts of violence against our military and civilians are followers of Moha-MAD, and that they commit these acts in obedience to their belief system, then we're lost.

Instead we have CNN headlines such as, "Army honors dead, searches for motive in Fort Hood shootings." It's clear to everyone who has more than one brain cell what the motive was.

Even more outrageous was Obama's reaction to this atrocity, which Leticia of My Daily Trek documented and rightly ranted about. Our posturing prez had to give a "shout out" and thank his staff and cabinet members, as if he were at some sort of awards ceremony (a pity that Kanye West didn't show up and grab the mike away from him). Only after Obama thanked his people and blathered on for two full minutes about how his wonderful plans for America must be enforced did he finally get around to addressing the horrific attack at Fort Hood and loss of American lives.

That's right, this jackass literally puts his commie cronies before murdered and injured soldiers. If this doesn't make Obama's character and loyalties plain, then nothing can. His megalomania is beyond question, as is his utter contempt for this country and those who serve her.

Is this what we voted for, America?

Mohammedans and statists sure have a lot in common: disregard for freedom, rights, and human life. This shouldn't surprise, considering that they serve the same unholy master.

Communist and muzlims have no morals, only obedience to a rule, so it is not hard to see why they work so well together. While they have many points of disagreement, they are much alike in many ways.

We simply cannot continue to allow muzlims to run free in American society. We must criminalize izlam, just as we once did with the communist party. This makes perfect sense because they are subscribed to a religio-political philosophy that is out to overthrow the US government in its drive for world domination. We cannot continue to hug the serpent to the national breast and not expect it to bite. It will bite us, and we will wake up dead. We should not be surprised. They have told us this is their intent, they have told us so repeatedly and very clearly. We are foolish to ignore them.

Many people talk about the "moderate muzlims," and they usually talk about how the "moderate muzlims" should speak out to condemn events like the shooting at Ft. Hood. Have you notice that this almost never happens? If it does, the statement is always a very tepid, almost meaningless statement. Do you know why? They do not object to these attacks at all. They support them. They dare not object to them. It is not because it would embarrass them in front of us; they could care less about that. It is the way any genuine condemnation would be received in their own ranks. They dare not speak out against the actions of any other muzlim because they all support this sort of attack on the West. So the best we get from the "moderate muzlims" is silence and that is the same thing as support fo the attacks.

I think Obama actually hit a new low on this one.

As far as the shooter, we need to re-evaluate if we want Muslims in the military. I do not say this lightly because I am not an intolerant person but this incident cannot be ignored.

The real question is... how long has Hasan been planning this attack?

November 7, 2009 | Unregistered Commenteramboy

Dr. D, I'm inclined to agree with you and Chuck-- do we really want Mohammedans in the armed forces? This isn't the first time American military have been targetted by their fellow soldiers who were Moos-lum. And yes, it's funny that these "moderate" Muslims never tend to speak out against terrorist acts perpetrated in the name of Islam. Why not? It must be because they really have no grounds to do so, because the jihadis aren't going against their religion.

Chuck, Obama really made himself look bad. He is such a disgrace to this country... we need him OUT.

Amboy, he was apparently on message boards that hailed jihadi attacks as something heroic. So the idea that it was PTSD like Dr. Phil and that stupid woman with the 'tude were trying to say on Larry King is ludicrous.

But I knew this would happen-- that the media would downplay Hasan's religion, claim that it was something other than his religion that drove him to kill his fellow soldiers, or even blame his acts on anti-Moos-lum "intolerance."

But do not dare to even suggest that he could have been killing in the name of Allah-- that's "irresponsible" and "dangerous."

I agree with Dr. Dave as well. I do, however, have a concern. Let's say that we are able to pass a law of some sort that restricts islamofascists. We are then setting a precedent. The next lefty administration could either use the courts, or expand said laws to cover Christians. The left would LOVE to silence or restrict Christians. If you look at their words and behavior, they view Christianity as a greater threat.

Exactly!

As for BHO's statement on the jihad at Fort Hood, I don't have a printable comment. I am appalled and disgusted beyond civilized words.

=== " why can't the same hold true for this horrible tragedy? " ===
I'll tell you why !
Hasan volunteered ( or was drafted ) to the US Army to perform his duty with his heart and soul ! He gave an oath !
As a soldier, he is expected to give all he has to protect his fellow comrades even at the cost of HIS life !
This is how it works in the IDF and I'm sure it is not any different in the US Army.
" ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE " is not just a slogan . This is the very motivating spirit which moves the individual soldier to perform beyond his own imagination and it is the ONLY RELIABLE AND SOLID thing he has at
moment of despair when the horror of war strike him !!!
Shooting your comrades in the back ( including a pregnant soldier lady ), is NOT a murder not even a horrible tragedy as you call it!
This is an act of high treason of the worst kind !!!

I am pist beyond words and will reserve my comments as I go on my face for the foul words that
are running through my head. BUT, I WILL continue to report on every aspect of this event - until
they come and collect me for the gulag.

Karen..the families of Fort Hood victims must be reeling from this pathetic excuse for a President!

November 9, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterAngel

Thanks for the Hat tip, sweetie.

I sincerely bellieve that a devoted and practicing Muslim is dangerous to anyone. They have no qualms about killing or hurting anyone that goes against their beliefs and their nation. American soldiers are in Muslim territory and I am more than positive Hasan is not the only American that hates that we are over there, even though we are protecting and defending them from tyranny. That makes absolutely no difference to them.

Muslims in the military are a real threat as we have seen through this horrific tragedy. We must protect our soldiers, but with BHO in office that is just not going to happen.

And the seeing how the MSM scrambled to portray that murdering monster as a victim of circumstance makes me want to vomit. Those families have been betrayed by the media and BHO.

"....although there are followers of Mohammed who are kind, decent people, we quite simply cannot trust them as a general rule."

Exactly, i didn't think that in the past, but reality changed all that, i don't need to have someone close to me murdered to figure it out. They cannot treated the same and be afforded the same assumption of innocence until proven guilty. At least not until they reform their own religion and defeat the haters and extremists among them. The price for waiting for them to commit a crime is too high.

At the very least, we need to stop all immigration to the west of muslims, take the Christians fleeing persecution from them instead.

November 10, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterMK

Matt, your concern is a legitimate one. Once you start saying "x people" aren't allowed, then that opens the door to exclude others too. Of course, Muslims are really the only people who routinely kill in the name of their religion/political system. And I have a feeling that protecting them from discrimination won't protect US. I can see "no Christians allowes" happening anyway, no matter how tolerant WE are.

AOW, this pretty much tells us everything we need to know about the man (and I use that term losoely) we elected and where his priorities lie: NOT with the American people.

Alexander, welcome! Yes, it was treason, absolutely. Will he be executed? Probably not... might provoke the headchoppers, and CAIR will paint Muzzies as the victims.

November 10, 2009 | Registered CommenterKaren Howes

Nancz, I'm pissed beyond respectable words myself. The murder was bad enough, but the way it's being handled is almost worse.

Angel, you have the families about about 30 people who will not vote for him again, if they were foolish enough to do so before.

Leticia, you're most welcome! Yes, why is it that being a "moderate" Muslim is good? That's like an admission that being a devout one makes you evil. If anyone called me a "moderate" Christian, I would not take that as a compliment.

MK, we need to do SOMETHING all right, besides placate Muzzies who are claiming they're not afraid they'll be victims of an anti-Mohammedan" backlash"... which, if you ask me, is long overdue.

Karen, I was away on a business trip when this took place and am glad I didn't have a pc with me. I don't think I would have been able to post about it when I first heard about it either. Angry? You betcha! Angry and totally heart broken. Ft. Hood is very close to where I live, but even if it hadn't been I would have felt the same thing. My husband spent 20 years in the Army. This never would have happened during that time. How things have changed!

We've got to get rid of dhimmitude in this country!

I'm linking to others who I visit who have posted on this subject and will link your post right away. Thank you and God bless you!

RaDena, I understand. I had to really will myself to not let a few f-bombs fly from my fingers (although I'm sure most of you regulars would have understood if I had).

What angers me more than anything is how we're *STILL* protecting Muzzie terrorists, even after this, by pretending that it was something-- ANYTHING-- other than Eeeeeslam that motivated him.

November 10, 2009 | Registered CommenterKaren Howes

It’s been grimly amusing to watch the liberal mainstream media spin the murder spree at Ft. Hood. They are trying mightily to pretend it was all about Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan’s inner psychological turmoil, given his job as an Army psychiatrist whose task it was to counsel troubled veterans of the Iraq and Afghan wars. He is depicted as a victim of post-traumatic stress syndrome, even though he was never in combat. His identification with his clients’ suffering, his poor job evaluations, even his lack of a wife are all blamed for his rampage.

In order to give this narrative of victimization credibility, the touchy-feely school of thought has to ignore the mountains of evidence that – given his premises – Hasan acted rationally and there was nothing inexplicable about his deadly spasm of violence.

[...]

But there was nothing wrong, psychologically, with the devout Muslim who had become a vociferous and increasingly bitter opponent of what he regarded as the U.S. war on Islam. Dr. Val Finnell, a former classmate who attended Uniformed Services University with the shooter in 2007, says Hasan told anyone who would listen he was "a Muslim first and an American second."

November 10, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterConstantine

Constantine, it is amazing how blind and stupid some people are in regard to this. It's coming to light now that there were a LOT of red flags about Hasan that went ignored. No one thought to mention them, apparently, until he killed people. Then it was "Oh, yeah, I'm not surprised he did it." Well, if that's the case, then why the f@#% did you not say something???

Political correctness kills. Literally.

What gets me is how people are 'surprised' by BO's lack of empathy towards our troops and their families. All one has to do is read Audacity of Hope to understand this man's stance. "If a conflict should occur between the United States and the Islamic world, I will have to side with the Muslims every time." I've been saying this since the campaign, yet nobody has ever picked up on it. I guess nobody, but Socialists and jihadists, have read his garbage book except me because I wanted to know who this nobody that had accomplished nothing was. Turns out, so far, everything I've feared.

November 11, 2009 | Unregistered Commentermadmath1

That reminds me...

You used to hear all the time about how minorities are more likely to die fighting America's wars than whites are," writes Steve Sailer, "but the ethnic distribution of military deaths no longer interests the mainstream media"

http://isteve.blogspot.com/2009/11/us-military-deaths-in-afghanistan-by.html

Why? "Per capita, Non-Hispanic whites have been 2.47 times as likely as minorities to die in Afghanistan."

November 11, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterConstantine

Hi Madmath, and welcome.

Exactly... why should people be surprised at Obama's agenda and character, when it was right there in front of us last year?

Constantine, very true. Statistics are often literally made up... in fact, studies have shown that about 60% of all statistics you read can't be trusted. :-P
