Obama has "restored our standing in the world"

Did not this delusional idiot take an oath to uphold and defend this country and its Constitution? I don't recall that oath or the job description of U.S. president including anything about making sure "the world" likes us.
But as usual, the least of Obama's concerns is the American people. He's made that clear time and time again. For this narcissist, the opinion of freedom-hating tyrants and inbred, violent Islamist retards is more important than the well-being or even the opinion of those he's supposed to serve.
How about your "standing" with your own countrymen, Barry? In case you haven't been paying attention to that one, it's not too good.

Restoring 'standing' in the world = political speak for attempts to make totalitarian leaders pretend to like us, often to the point of flipping off pro-American countries (Poland, Czech Republic, Israel, Taiwan).
Our standing in the world has changed. From super power to laughing stock. Every dictator in the world is going hell bent to develop nukes, bully neighbors, build networks, and so on, because they KNOW Obama is a weakling. Depending on how things go, he may go down as worse than Nevile Chamberlain. Time will tell.

AOW-- oh, absolutely. It was actually Obama saying this. I saw in a comment on another blog where someone remarked on how Obama could be such an arrogant egotistic on one hand and such a subservient, slobbering servant to our enemies on the other.
Zot, you hit it dead on, as usual. And "pretend" to like us is the key word. Half the time they don't even pretend to continue hating us, despite us literally bending over for them.
Matt, we have indeed gone from superpower to laughingstock. Granted, this didn't start with Obama-- but he sure isn't doing anything to make us look powerful or serious enough to avoid being a target of even more terro-scum attacks.

What is that idiot trying to do? Win a popularity contest? He is supposed to be a leader of a powerful nation and he is shaming all of us into an embarrassing oblivion. What those world leaders are thinking is that we have a wimp in office who isn't capable of defending our nation and we will be easy targets.
It's hard to understand how he can say he's 'restored our standing' when the first thing he does when meeting a tin-pot dictator is to head for his knees or bend in half at the waist.
I think the question that these other leaders must be asking themselves, if they are thinking, is this: Are the American people still with this guy? Sure, they can maneuver pretty freely in their own backyards with full assurance that Zero will do absolutely nothing. If they start entertaining ideas about direct actions against the US, they have to wonder if the American people are as weak as the American leader. Past experience should tell them otherwise. It should also tell them that this will pass, and that they better not get too carried away in the short run.
He has restored standing alright, of those in the world who think that America is soft, fat, stupid, weak, treacherous and can't be relied upon. Well done lefties, one more thing you've turned to crap.
If by "restored our standing in the world" he means they STILL want to kill us, then yes, he has done that.
